As stated above, when forwarding the Outlook contact group from a 365 account, the attachment is a link to the object in 365, and doesnt contain the actual list of contacts in the group. Snap! Spiceworks Originals To solve your issue, as a workaround, you could try to revert the version of your outlook so that you can use the People pane feature again. Ha! It's Apple's world and all of us should just be thankful they let us live in it. They belong to the iphone, and the iphone deletes them from everywhere it can if you remove the email address from the phone. 
Office365. It says they're Outlook contacts, but they actually aren't. Office365.ContactGetTables () This function woull return a list of records for the Contacts table, contacts table here refers to Contacts folder. Make sure the Show this folder as an email address book is ticked under the public folder contacts. After much Googling, I have discovered that the iPhone retains control over contacts that are supposed to be controlled and stored by Exchange. Of course the users didn't have their iCloud backup configured, so there's no backup to restore from. I'm pretty sure you hit the nail on the head with this one. If contacts are set to save "On my iPhone" by default, they won't sync with O365. Also go to Settings > Contacts and make sure default account is set to the O365 account. Or maybe there's an iTunes backup you can restore. It's not user friendly practice to make it hidden by default when, Microsoft has disabled message delivery into personal mailbox folder from group email.
If the contacts were set to sync back to Outlook and the contacts were deleted from the phone.and contacts sync'd after being e where I'm headed? The contacts are probably gone but check to see if they were saved in iCloud. Re: Office 365 groups not visible in Outlook client That worked thanks a lot.
